This is a quiet, city street at night, with a solitary woman leaning against the wall of a building. This is a 16" x 20" oil on a RayMar Canvas panel, that I have titled, "Lamplight". My granddaughter likes this painting.
I am an artist working in oils and watercolors. I have been painting for over 25 years. I have a BS degree in industrial education, and over 40 years as a color separator in the lithographic trade, where I worked on copy cameras, scanners, and, more recently, in Photoshop, and now I am retired from that vocation. I also taught color theory and application at Arizona State University.
I enjoy painting, and all my subjects are for sale, unless marked "SOLD."
I recently resigned from teaching an oil painting class at a local recreation center, which I did for 9 years, but I still offer private lessons on my glazing technique.
I am a conservative, American, Capitalist sort of an artist, and after the results of last night's election, we now seem to have our beloved AMERICA back! Best wishes to our wonderful President Elect, Donald Trump!
